The drive system ensures precise control of the table at all times. The acceleration, rotational speed and deceleration can be tailored according to the product being manufactured. A choice of rotational speeds, including a ‘creep’ speed, is provided for production and maintenance operations and it is possible to rotate in both directions. The rotational control is achieved by the inverter drive. Accurate positioning of the table is achieved by an encoder fitted to the drive motor. The operators console allows for easy access to the table drive system parameters.
